This review is not for people that don't appreciate a beautiful country, or those that aren't open to a new culture. I had the rare chance to spend some time in this wonderful country, and I am so thankful that I took that opportunity. It was such a great experience and I will never forget it. The rainforests, diverse people and new experience are all priceless.
I don't know what I will remember as the most impressionable memory. Wether it will be hiking through the rainforests with monkeys jumping overhead and being surrounded by tropical plants. Or will it be peering down into the center of an active volcano. Perhaps it will be the chance to experience a new set of customs and a new way of life with the Costa Ricans, and learning of their ways, and their beliefs. It may even be the countless beaches with their clear, warm water and white sand.
Whatever it may be, I would not trade one of those memories in for anything. You don't truly realize what a travesty deforestation is until you have experienced being enveloped in the forestry and hearing the sounds of the wonderful creatures. And one doesn't realize how diverse the world is until they experience the life of another culture. Costa Rica is a beautiful country with so much to offer. It is not over run with tourists, and the scenery and attractions are all so wonderful. If you are pondering on where to take your next trip, look into Costa Rica, you will not ever forget this experience.
