Though I've never been to Sydney, your review brought it to life for me. It must be a beautiful place, after all, my daughter's name is Sydney and she's a beautiful girl! ;)
Good job!

Hi Barbara ,
I hope you get your wish to see Sydney in the flesh one day and if you do, that the cold wind stays away for you.
Thanks ...
Christine :)

Thanks Darla.
So sorry about your friend, did she get her wish and have her ashes scattered here?
A friend of mine did a journey with her friends ashes a few years ago, returning them to a small village in Ireland where the person came from.
She had a huge adventure along the way and had such an amazing story to tell on her return.
Hope you make it down here one day.
Christine :)

Lovely Trip Report (Reply to this comment)
by DAnneC
Trip reports are supposed to be long. Sounds like a wonderful trip. Someday Sydney!
By the way, I lost a friend just one year ago who absolutely adored New Zealand and asked that her ashes be scattered there. Despite her relative youth, she had trouble traveling (arthritis caused pain from long hours of sitting). Still, she found ways to make it to your beautiful country. Someday I must come to share what she so valued.
Regards,
Darla

I didn't realise how ' odd ' that sounded till you pointed it out.
Thanks Phil.
