So your young, your bored, your looking for late night weekend fun, and your in Birmingham, Alabama? Well, most people would say that your probably going to stay bored, but that is why I'm here to let you know the clubbing scene of the Magic City.
Depending on your meaning of "fun", Birmingham could have much to offer your weekend nights. Strolling along in Southside, the heart of the club scene, is not very pleasurable late nights. Being the downtown delight of all kinds of people, some people like myself who reside here, would say your best bet is to know where your going and how to get there. There is no use driving in circles, when you could have a guide. Plus you might end up on Northside, ofcourse the side to be avoided after midnight. So here is your late night line up.... Enjoy!
Friday/Saturday ~~ 7:30 - 12:00
Senior Frog ~ Welcome to the only night club in Hoover. Located 10 minutes from Birmingham, Senior Frog is your late night clubs for people over 21. A retro dance craze of all mix of people with about enough space to move as you'd hope for in any club. Friendly bartenders who's mix of drinks will plaster even the high tolerance of many. Although bringing a more age group of up to your late 20's, it's spacious buildings with FANS~ (less sweating is a must) will help allow the night to pass easy. Loved the atmosphere of clear minded party people just having a good time. Lots of dim dancing.. before you know it... it's closing time.

Entertainment: Live DJ, radio contest, bikini calender events
Serve Food: Thursday, Friday early free buffets
Warnings: Hoover has it's reason's for only having one club in it's location. The police station is located 5 minutes from Senior Frog and the 25 mph speed limit is enforced strickly.

The Studio~ Now this is about the perfect time that Birmingham get's jumping. Located around 5 pts(by the fountain!) in the heart of Southside.. A two floor building that will charm any visitor embedded in a city atmosphere. Dim lit and loud with 2 small bars. You may feel a bit cramped but by this late at night that shouldn't be so bad. People over 21 can enjoy all types of dance craze music. Not a whole bunch of seatings but the only bar that can fix the rarest of mixed drinks to your likings. A "Friday" must do, a "Saturday" repeat.

Cost to enter: $5.00 and membership card (free)
Entertainment: Live DJ, radio contests, Calendar contests, etc.
Serve Food: No, but open extra late night Johnny Rockets right next door, serving outdoor meals. Perfect for summer clubbing.
Warning: Many drivers on small confusing roads. Be careful which street is one way.
Next Stop 3:00 ~ 4:00am
The Mill~ Enjoy a different live band every Friday and Saturday night. Located right down the street from the Sudio.Retro dance style and Alternative "Like" bands that rock all night. A little cramp but a definate "must do". Old charming surroundings that are comfortable for a relaxing after dancing scene. Awsome bartenders and delicious food in a semi- dining experience. Clubbers over 21 only.

Entertainment: Different Live bands ~ upfront table action ~
Serve Food: You bet and probably the best food around. From burgers to chicken
