Visitors can by "GoPasses" that are good for 1, 3, or 5 days. They get you into a LOT of attractions pre-paid, and if you're planning to hit a lot of places the savings adds up fast. Sea World isn't included, but several of the other places on your list (and many more) are. It's a nice way to save on admissions fees.
You can buy them online, and some travel planning sites offer them as well.

I was in San Diego early in March so I didn't have your wonderful review to guide me. However, we did get to the Hacienda in Old Town which was wonderful and then we visited magnificent La Jolla. Since we only had one day to explore by ourselves following a business meeting, I can only hope I get another opportunity to catch all 12 you wrote about. Thanks for the info.

Another terrific review....I felt like I was reading an actual travel article in one of the mainstream travel magazines.
You're a GREAT travel writer...and I've read a lot of travel writing - so I don't make that statement casually.
