Boulder is a great city!! Everyone should see Colorado once and Boulder is the perfect basecamp for those excursions. Boulder is ecclectic and funky even if the yuppies are starting to invade it. There is plenty to do and see for everyone. Day trips out of the city are spectaculor....Rocky Mountain National Park, Indian Peaks Wilderness Area, etc., etc. If you don't want to leave Boulder, take some time to explore it. Boulder is home to the oldest Chataqua in the USA. The Chataqua movement began at the turn of the last century as a way to bring arts, music and theater to the masses. It was, and still is, a fabulous place at the foothills of the Flat Irons. The Chataqua also has one of the best kept secret resturants in Boulder on the grounds. There is so much to enjoy about Boulder, this Jersey Girl can't even begin to describe here. Definitely worth the time to explore and enjoy.
