A gorgeous venue for a concert

Pros:spectacular views and great acoustics
Cons:none

This is the most beautiful place that I know of to see a concert. I have seen quite a few concerts, but none will compare to the shows that I enjoyed at Red Rocks. The outdoor amphitheater is in the city of Morrison an overlooks the city of Denver. I have been to two concerts on the 4th of July at Red Rocks (Robert Plant and Blues Traveler) and watching the fireworks in Denver during the show made those performances even more spectacular.

Though I haven't been to a concert here in years, I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys concerts. I have had the good fortune to see the U2 concert that was filmed for television as well as one of the Grateful Dead's last performances at this venue.

Red Rocks is also well-known for their Easter sunrise service. I have never attended, but can only imagine what a wonderful experience this must be.

The acoustics are wonderful and the views are breathtaking. If you are in Denver during concert season, take a drive into the foothills and see a concert at this wonderful place.
