Really boring ripoff poor amenities Disney prices!

Pros: The Exit.
Cons: Overpriced ,boring, stinky dirty restrooms, expensive food,
unfriendly staff, Just a waste of time Beware
The Bottom Line: I would really stay away from this one I was bored to death and imagine so would most people especially kids at $30.00 to $40.00 poor value.

I have been a yearly visitor to Florida but this was my first visit to the Kennedy Space Center.
I was really looking forward to this but was extremely dissapointed.
This is not run by NASA but is contracted out to a commercial theme park company.
My first impression was poorly signposted ,ticket staff unfriendly, filthy inadequate restrooms.
The mens restroom at the entrance had one cubicle amazing.
$40.00 for ticket which included Astronaut hall of fame about 6 miles away.
I got there early and watched the IMAX movie first which was good but gave me a splitting headache.
Besides the Imax theatre there where a few other attractions which were boring.
There is a large store selling large amounts of really overpriced poor quality junk.
Food prices seemed comparable to Disney Prices.
As a tax payer I was becoming more and more irritated at being ripped off again after having paid for this.
I boarded the bus and was taken to differant rusty old launch pads while contantly hearing the same boring type music in the background and being constantly reminded how brave the aviators were, really lame.
also there were constant remiders to donate money to astronauts their wifes kids aunties etc.
If you have young children this will bore them to death.
However if you are a really space nut maybe it would be nice.
The astronaut hall of fame was ok but you can get through it in about half an hour but really a museum of old uniforms helmets etc.
To me it was like going to a really dull museum.
PS the security and crowd control at the entrance is laughable.
If this place wants to charge like Disney then give value like Disney or give free entrance like the Smithsonian which is 100 * better and free.
