Mediterraneo Restaurant in Honolulu is Awesome

My fiance and I dined at Mediterraneo last night and it is one of the best Italian restaurants in Hawaii!!! The restaurant isn't very big, but the decor is very nice with Italian music in the background. We were seated and presented with menus very quickly. Everything on the menu sounded so good I had a hard time deciding what to order. We started off with a vegetable sautee that was out of this world!!! I am usually not a vegetable eater, but this was delicious!!! For the entrees, my fiance had pollo ala oio which was linguine and chicken in an olive oil based sauce. The chicken was so moist it melted in my mouth!!! I had risotto al norcina, which is Italian rice with sausage, mushrooms, and eggplant. DELICIOUS!!! Both entrees were so good we both kept eating off each others plate!!! The service was very attentive without being overly intrusive. The only downside to this restaurant is parking. There are only about 5 stalls in the back. Prices range from about $15 - $19 for an entree, about average for other Italian restaurants around town. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends!!!
