We visited Wichita in July and it was a great experience. We thought the city was very clean and attractive. But, the place we reeally liked was Old Cowtown. What a great experience. It is an old west experience. A cattle drive, a saloon with sasparilla and singing ladies, and lots more stuff to see. The buildings are representative of Kansas in the late 1800's and the overall concept is that of being transported back 120 years. The guides there are very informative and speak to you about the 1880's or modern day so you can get a good perspective of now and then. They also have gun fights and other interesting things to do and see. I have been to many museums, and this rated very high on my list. See it.
