Red Rock Canyon Really Rocks!!! It just takes Your Breath Away!!!! A True Stress Reliever!!!

WHAT'S THE 411 ON THIS PLACE?
Red Rock Canyon is located about 25 miles out from fabulous Las Vegas. It's a vast area of mountains, hills and a scenery with a monster valley that's unmatched by anything else except Grand Canyon and it lets you see and enjoy the multi-colored mountains!!
It offers a breath-taking view of this large great enchanted piece of nature of sorts!! It captures everyone's attention with the mountains' fastinating colors of red and orange with yellow tops. It's just breath-taking!!
WHAT ELSE?
There are no rides, no hotels, no casinos and no tall buildings. Just a quiet seemingly endless view that I'd love to see over, and over, and over again!!!
On the way back from Bonnie Springs, a friend and I decided to make a stop at Red Rock Canyon to take a long look at the area and take some pictures of the scenery that's just mind-boggling! And just like Fremont Experience, I felt that this was the perfect time to take in some of the pleasantly warm sunny afternoon weather and to enjoy looking at the colorful mountains and breathe in the fresh air!
And what a time it was!! All of the stress, troubles and problems seemed to just melt away!! I couldn't help but to think happy thoughts and feel mezmorized and tranquilized by looking at those wonderful mountains!
WHAT WORDS CAN BEST DESCRIBE THIS PLACE?
Peace, tranquility, solitude, stress relief, total relaxation, peace of mind, beautiful scenery, beautiful photography, nature at its best and all else that's good with it!!
Plus most of all, this is a timeless wonderful adventure that you just can't afford to miss!! Like stepping into another world in time!! A world that will let your mind be free!!! You can even take the kids on a pleasant daylight nature hike and let them see and enjoy all the things that that nature has to offer here!! Great education benefit for them!
My little buddy who I tutor at his school would LOVE to visit this place, since two of his favorite subjects in school are nature and animals. He would have a ball here talking to me to no end and just enjoying nature at this place!!!!!!!!! He would be flabbergasted!!
You'll also truly be totally flabbergasted as you stand or sit and look up at the colorful mountains and gaze down into the valley in awe!!!
IS THERE OTHER STUFF?
I heard that there's a charge to get in to view the mountain a little bit closer, but I do not know or remember paying any money to enjoy view the area closer. Unless this went into effect after we visited the place.
There is however a small building with restrooms and a room where you can buy refreshments and snacks. /and there are tables and stools outside where you can eat and play chess or play cards.
Most people usually like to camp out here overnight to make them feel as though they are on a camping trip. Haven't tried that either. But I imagine that it would be fun. One thing to remember, though. It IS pitch black out there at night, so if you do want to spend a night out there, you'd definitely want to bring a large powerful flashlight with you.
But then you'd have to worry about loosing money at your hotel by spending a night out here in natureland. But if just a pleasant daylight visit and a walk through the valley here is all that you're after, then this is the perfect place to do it!!

MY EXPERIENCE SO FAR:
I've enjoyed a wonderful time here!! I love the nature, the fresh air, the peace, solitude and tranquility! The scenery and the colorful mountains just does something to me and seems to take me into another relaxing world!!
I'd come back here in a heartbeat!! So beautiful and adventurous! Hearing the birds singing from time to time make it all the more fastinating and exciting Truly something to behold!!
IN SHORT:
Overall, I'd say that this place is a marvel of sorts! Just being here tends to take me away from the daily hustle and bustle of the Strip! I still love the Strip. But this is a place where you sometimes want to find peace of mind and be among the wonders of nature for a few hours!
FINAL THOUGHT?
Yes! If you ever decide to come to Las Vegas, then please, don't miss out on the opportunity of what seems like a lifetime!! Other than the Grand Canyon or Death Valley, this place is the next best thing to enjoying a breath-taking view and getting a true taste of nature at it's absolute best!!
