For the past ten years my family has traveled to Wildwood, New Jersey every summer. Every July we take an eight hour drive to the place of our dreams, The Wildwoods. The fun and excitement all comes alive when you walk the 1.7 mile boardwalk. Day and night, lights flash to catch your attention. Ride bikes in the morning and take a stroll down to the beach. This is just one place you will never become bored.
Another great attraction of Wildwood is the short distance to Cape May. Cape May is a wonderful place to visit. It is more expensive to stay than Wildwood though. It is filled with huge Victorian homes from the 1800's. You can also visit the wonderful Cape May Lighthouse. In South Jersey, it is beautiful no matter where you go.
As you travel back to Wildwood, you will encounter many other beautiful places, one being Stone Harbor. There are just too many places to describe.
Along the beaches, you will find gorgeous scenery such as bottle-nose dolphins swimming along the shore. And As far as hotels, it is fairly cheap. We stay at a place in North Wildwood called DeSales Court. It is a very clean, inexpensive place to spend the week. I recommend Wildwood, NJ to any type of family. Smaller children will be entertained just as much as the elder. There is something to do for everyone!
