This sounds heavenly. It will be a definite stop for us if/when we're ever in the area...

We definitely need a gourmet foods section. (Reply to this comment)
by irbykb
We could share our knowledge and experience of breads, cheeses, mustards, vinegars, olive oils, you name it! However, if we DID have a gourmet foods section, I may never get any work done!
Thanks for a great review! 8-)

I moved to LA .... (Reply to this comment)

...from NYC, where our offices were 2 blocks from Grand Central, just as the remodeling was being completed. What a job, what a place! I'll keep O&Co. in mind when I'm back at the central office next month.
Nice post, though I disagree with the comment about Xmas shopping in Manhattan. I miss the hustle.
cheers,

I use olive oil every day. (Reply to this comment)

I stopped by to thank you for reading my write up on NY Botanical Gardens. I really appreciate it.
I was just in Grand Central & enjoyed the laser show. My neck still hurts. There is so much to see here. I love all the new shops. I bought a little soft bus in the transit shop.

Great review! I will have to check the shop out.
I agree that a gourmet food section would be a welcome addition to the site.
I myself have been expeiementing with Greek olive oils lately, but taht could be due to my proximity to Astoria, Queens.

This place sounds amazing. I'm so intrigued, and like you prior to this experience, only know a minimal amount of info on olive oil.
great review,

a section for gourmet foods....Hmmmmm wouldn't it be nice if they weren't a penny a hit??
We went to a store like this in Paris last month, God, is it a month already??? Most of their oils came from Provence but they did have some Italian olive oils as well.:)
Thanks for another great review

Great review.
BTW, I'm setting up an eGroup for NYC-based ePinions writers and working on integrating ePinions-based content into a restaurant review site set up to help feed the hungry of NYC. If you're interested in joining, we'd love to have you.
(Other NYC-based writers feel free to contact me, too.)

This place sounds fascinating. Great review. I think you're right about having a gourmet food category. I probably wouldn't be able to contribute, but I sure would like to read the reviews!

While there is a "gourmet" section on Epinions, it is pretty useless. There is wine & spirits, beer, and cigars.
What about:
Chocolate
Gourmet food-shopping online
Coffee
artisanal breads
ice cream
ooooh, i'm getting hungry...

Sounds just wonderful for someone who enjoys good olive oil. I'm sure my mom would love to visit. :)
I'm dying to find out where I can find or buy Tapenades.
Wonderful review. :) A gourmet category sounds like a good idea...hopefully epinions realizes there are people with a wide range of interests here. :)
