I live in Asheville, North Carolina. So I sometimes travel on the Blue Ridge Parkway up to 3 or 4 times a week. And by sitting here thinking about what I am going to write in this review I realize that I take this area for granite. I know that many tourists travel hundreds of miles to come and enjoy this wonderful area. And I complain about the curvy roads.
The Blue Ridge Parkway is a very unique National Park. Instead of it being a run around and play park it is a road that carries you through the most beautiful land on this side of the Mississippi. The Parkway will take you through the mountains with little outlooks for the passenger to stop and take there picture or get out and hike up and down a mountain. The delightful views will make you never want to go home, but once you get out and smell the clean mountain air you won't go home. The curvy 469 mile scenic route will take you to some of the tourists stop like Craggy Gardens and Mt. Mitchell (the tallest mountain of this side of the Mississippi).
So if you are looking for that place where you can come and let all your senses be delighted you are looking at the Blue Ridge Parkway. And on your trip make sure you stay in Asheville. I hope you like my review. Have a good day!
