We took our family of three children with us on this trip. They were 8, l3 and l5. We had gotten tickets from our congressman when we arrived there. By the way, we called about a year in advance for these tickets.
They only allow so many from each district.
When we got there, it was kind of confusing as far as where we were suppose to be. Finally they got us to the right spot. We waited in one room and then they took us to another room where we waited again.
Once we got going on the tour, it was very interesting. They showed you different things that they had confiscated throughout the year and different information on criminals involved. They took us to a room where they shot guns and then they had a question and answer session afterwards. My kids liked the shooting part. Of course, they have a small gift shop there. Just make sure you get the right size of t-shirt. You can't return it. We tried without any luck.
Don't miss it.
