Pros: Really cool tour that allows you to spy on the FBI...
Cons: You don't do too much but listen and look...
Basically the FBI center turns out to be what you would expect it to be. Very slick, very professional, and very technical. I really enjoyed it and if anyone interested in this field at all I think will enjoy a tour of the facilities.
I gave this attraction a 8 out of 10.
I am a 25-year-old male engineering and computer science student living in SC. I do have a large humanities background.
I went in January so the line wasn't anything to complain about. But most people hate the wait and learn the hard way that if you going in any other season besides Winter you should get a reservation otherwise you will waste hours waiting in a long, hot, and boring line.
I liked the way you could see behind the scenes so to speak. They allowed you to see through one-way mirrors on the FBI, which feels kind of funny since it is usually the other way around. You see their crime lab, their computer lab, and their shooting range if I remember correctly. It has been a while.
There is a lecture classroom part of the tour where they talk and answer questions. And there is a hall of criminals so to speak where you can learn about the worst of 10 Most Wanted lists has to offer. You'll see some cool spy type weapons and so on, like the umbrella that is really a shotgun type stuff. This is a really cool part.
The tour is interesting, education, and rather exciting for the most part. It depends on the tour guide. But if you have the time you will want to see the place and learn about its history.
