We had the opportunity to stay in the Tampa area in late October for a few days and got a multi-day pass to Busch Gardens.  I had not been there since the 70's (when the brewery was still there) so I was anxious to see it again.

With little kids, we had no plans to ride any of the coasters.  We hoped there were enough stuff to do with the kids.  We were not disappointed.

We visited the Elmo / Sesame Street area the first thing each day and got to do first rides on multiple rides in the kids area and went around again oin the Grover Coaster and boat rides.  We spent the rest of the day seeing shows, looking at the animals and riding a few of the other appropriate rides.

The park is very large compared to the Magic Kingdom and getting from one side to the other can easily take 20 minutes even without a crowd. 

The Elmo / Sesame Streen movie show was good and in the heat, getting a little damp was ok.

The train ride was great and we got to see lots of animals.  Going all the way around takes 40 minutes.  Compare this to MK where the round trip is only 20 minutes.

Dining is expensive (duh) but we got turkey sandwiches in the sultans theater and were able to share 2 between the 4 of us.

Transportation to and from the park were provided by our hotel, but drop off is literally at the front gate which made things very easy.
