Lagoon certainly isn't the best amusment park in the nation, but it is the best that Utah's got. It was definately built with family in mind, but has all sorts of rides and activities for all ages. Everytime I visit Lagoon, which is about once a year, there is always something new from a crazy modern coaster to a sophisticated kiddie ride, Lagoon changes, and gets better, every year.
AMUSEMENT
Lagoon is filled with many incredible rides and coasters that blow my mind every time I visit. The thrill rides that they have are top of the line and popular throughout the world. Most of the coasters are very modern, from the track to the car. Some coasters are much older and rickidy, making them the most fun for me. One coaster was built in the mid 1900's and was transferred from different areas of the state before making it's home in Lagoon. You will find many rides suitable for you and people of all ages.
FOOD
There are many food stands and some restaurants where the food is fantastic but, like many other parks, very pricy. To get a good meal for lunch including a drink would cost about $15. But for being in an amusment park, the food is very good.
PRICES
The admission prices for Lagoon are not very welcoming. The good news is, there are often many discounts available from just living in the state. It is managable to knock off about $10 just by searching for discounts and coupons. These are the full admission prices:
Regular Admission (51 inches & Up): $41.95
Kinder Admission (Up to 50 inches): $35.95
Toddler Admission (3 years and under) $21.95
Senior Admission (65 years and older) $28.95
Is the price worth it? Probrably no paying full price. But find some discounts and you'll be golden.
OVERALL
Lagoon is an awesome park with many amusements and is suitable for all ages. The staff is nice and welcoming, the food is pricy but great, and most of the rides are well worth the average wait times. (about 10-15 minutes for the most popular rides).
