Pros:Family friendly, gentle rides, great detail to all the Lego designs
Cons:Families with teens may find it less stimulating
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended for any family with Lego fans.
We visited Legoland last year. We have 2 young children and to their delight and ours there was plenty to marvel at and entertain us. On entering the park the attention to detail with the displays and the rides kept us interested.
There are plenty of eateries and public amenities. Some may consider the food somewhat pricey, as can be expected in such tourist facilities. The food and amenities were good quality and queues were not an issue.
The rides are tame and suitable for young children. There are rollercoaster rides for the more adventurous. There are also water themed rides, such as Pirate Land for those keen to get wet. In all there is plenty of entertainment for all ranges of adventure levels and the attention to detail throughout with the signage, displays and rides themselves.
The children enjoyed earning their Legoland Driver's Licenses at the driving school. The children drove on the specially designed car track in their Legoland cars in the Lego City area.
Imagination zone allowed the children to build and play with their own designs, surrounded by life size Lego displays.
Miniland features an array of city displays that are truly brilliant in their detail and enjoyable for all ages. The motorised displays and features keep the young well entertained in this area.
The staff were helpful and friendly. The park was clean and safely organised.
