Pros: Pizza Uno near park entrance is good and quick
Cons: Everything- overpriced, unsafe, too crowded, poorly managed.
The Bottom Line: Parent's Nightmare. Treat your kids to a day at the beach instead.

| dillyjmc's Full Review: Sesame Place |
We took a family trip to Sesame Place with our 3.5 year old and 16 month old on Monday, August 23, 2004. It was a horrible experience. The park was overcrowded, there was not enough staff, and the place is in a constant state of chaos. I would never go back.
The park is meant for little kids, but this park does not accommodate the needs of small children nor their parents. The lines are unreasonable. We waited 45 minutes to pay the park admission (one price for everybody, so there was no need for such a delay), we waited over a half hour to rent a stroller, and we waited nearly an hour to go on a teacup spinner! Half an hour top purchase a beverage - no water or juice left - only soda. There was literally no time to have fun if you tried - which we did.
My 3 year old daughter was repeatedly pushed by an older child in a jumping tent and the staff did nothing. We were stressed the entire time we were in the park because of the poor security and the constant lost child messages. Every few minutes we witnessed panicking parents trying to locate their kids. The park has few borders to keep kids in a contained area. In fact, three huge kiddie pools interconnect and are chaotic.
My daughters took their picture with Big Bird and he looked like he was going to keel over. What a great impression that made!
At 4:00, we went to the theatre for the 4:15 Elmo show we were told to wait for the next show since the 4:15 was already full.
The park is run by inexperienced teenagers who are not at all helpful. The park is overpriced. In my opinion, they only sell buy one day get one free tickets because they know most people never use the free day. No one wants to be tortured like that twice.
Only saving grace was the Big Bird show. My kids loved it. The parade was ok, but obviously low budget. They had a vinyl (balloon?) Mr. Snufalufagus. We never heard the famous Sesame Street music that you hear on tv..."Can you tell Me How To Get To Sesame Street.
It is a shame that a park with so much potential is so poorly managed. The owners should hire a contractor to revamp the park design, safety, security, crowd control, food and concessions, parade and shows.
You walk out of Sesame Place feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. There is a distinct feeling that the managers couldn't care less because with a few improvements, this could easily be a delightful park for family fun.
