Pros: Men Black, Terminator 3D
Cons: Lines very slow, Closes to early, not very Handicap friendly
The Bottom Line: Universal needs to update the park and stay open longer if you are going to get your moneys worth out of the $50 ticket.

| toolmandbq's Full Review: Universal Studios Florida |
I have been to Orlando and all its parks many times. The last time before this year was 1995. I found Universal Studios a great place to go, but they made some changes since then. Parking is not bad, but it takes you a while to get to the park even with ther moving sidewalks. Price to get in is $50 per person, same as most parks in the area, but they close to early 6 or 7pm. This is to get you to spend you money at there city walk area. I still wanted to go because I wanted to see the Terminator 3D movie. it was great, and one of the best things to see. But as I went through the park with my 11 year old daughter, she keep asking me what was that, and is that some old movie. This was about all there major rides. Most of them are based on 80's and early 90's movies. Great at the time, but it is getting old. The ride like Back to the Future is still great, but it losses something after 15 years. They are not like the childhood Disney classics.
This did not happen to us but to a group standing in line behind us. They were quite upset that there mothe in a wheel chair had not been able to join them in most of the fun. They had been there 4 hours and could not get on most rides, because they where not set up well for the handicap. She was saying if they get turned away from one more ride they want there money back. I don't blame them for being so made. The family day of fun probably cost them $300 for there group and the only place they could get into was The T2 Movie, Gift shop, and food places.
We when the first week in June which was before the big rush of people were there, but they were very slow in getting people on the rides. Disney was more crowded, but we did everything we wanted to do there and somethings three time. At Universal we got through most things, but the dame park closed at 7pm. Disney even after the offical close was still going strong at 10pm.
Food and drink cost more at Universal, but that's not to say Disney is cheap either.
