I really like all of the vacations that I have taken to Florida. One of the best parts of the vacation has always been the day at either Disney MGM Studio or Universal Studio Florida. I always try to spend a day at one or the other or both every time I go.
I gave this attraction a 8+ out of 10.
Background:
I am a 25-year-old male engineering and computer science student living in SC. I do have a large humanities background.
Overview:
I guess the worst part of the vacation has to be the cost. The tickets for these places tend to be astronomical. But if you consider the cost per hour plus the quality of the entertainment per hour you are really getting a steal.
I haven't been to Florida in a few years so I am not up to date on all of the newest rides and attractions but even if they hadn't changed anything I could tell you it is well worth the cost of the tickets to see these places.
The Jaws ride is a classic and will probably be around forever just updated here and there to keep up with the times. I hate to admit it but this ride honestly scarred the daylights out of me one time. And of course nobody else on the ride was even fazed.
The Terminator 2:3D is very famous and extremely popular and well loved attraction. People always enjoy that one. The Back to the Future ride is pretty cool if you don't have to wait three hours to ride it. It is starting to get a little long in the tooth so I don't think the line is bad anymore.
The E.T. Adventure is a really neat ride where you ride the ride on a special flying bicycle. Completely safe and completely cool ride. And I really like the Hanna-Barbera tour too.
The Earthquake ride is a special experience that is as close as I ever want to come to a real Earthquake, maybe even closer. And the King Kong ride is a real out of this world experience too.
Everything is cool and they have a lot of new state of the art rides like MIB: Alien Attack and the Wild, Wild West show.
Anyway there is definitely something for everyone and more. If you are going this way anytime soon be sure to check this place out.
