Islands of Adventure is one of the best theme parks for young adults around. If you love fast twisting roller coasters, then you'll love this park. They have the Hulk, which is one of the faster coaster I have ever been on. You will feel like your body has been centrifuged (for lack of a better analogy) when you get off this coaster. The waiting lines to get on this ride are relatively short. The ride only lasts about 2 or 3 minutes, so the wait is short. This coaster is a great thrill ride.
They also have a coaster called dueling dragons. There are two coasters: one is fire and the other is ice. The tracks wrap around each other, so you feel like you're going to hit the people in the other coaster as you wiz past each other. It is pretty scary, but it's safe.
By far the best ride in this park is the Spiderman ride. In my opinion, this is the coolest ride. It is a 3d ride, that takes you on an adventure with Spiderman. You feel the effects on a simulator and 3d screens. When there is fire, you'll feel the intense heat, you get sprinkled when there is water, and the wind in your face when you're falling. The lines on this ride are usually the longest, but you don't want to miss this ride.
All the other rides are fun also. But the previous three I mentioned are the best. Some of the show type adventures are not that impressive. There are a few rides and things to due for kids. They have a Dr. Seuss Island for children. Beware of the water rides and save them for last, because you will get soaked on them. You don't want to walk around all day wet! Overall, it's great fun for the day. If you are in Orlando, and have to chose between Islands of Adventure or Universal Studios, I would pick Islands of Adventure. That is if you like thrill rides.
