Universal Studios is great, although when I was there, I experienced very long waits...I guess if you go off season you'd be better off. We waited at least 4 hours for each attraction. The lines fool you because they are long on the outside, and when you think you are finally getting in, there are more lines on the inside!
But if you are patient, the attractions there are unbelievable. We went to ET...and rode the two wheeler thru the air and the woods, very natural,we went to Earthquake, which is a very fun ride....Back to the Future is a virtual ride, pretty extreme, but it was fun.....I talked about that for hours.
They also have live acts, i.e. The Blues Brothers and they are really good. They perform on what looks like the porch of an old Brooklyn building. They really pump you up. They arrive and leave in their black car.
The restaurants all have themes, i.e. the 50's mel's diner, etc. I dont remember that it cost too extreme, what I do remember is relaxing and having a cool beer outside one of the restaurants and watching all around me. I loved it, but again, go off season, the lines can be long.
