My girlfriend and I went to Florida in October and did all the normal things that you do there. When we went to Universal Studios it was her second time to go but my first. Needless to say, I had a ball. I just turned 30 in Jan. but I felt 10 all over again. Unfortunately we saved this for the last two days of our trip. I figured one day at each park. Boy was I wrong. We could have definitely used at least one more if not two.
We went all through the first park, but didn't have enough time to get completely through Islands of Adventure. I will be taking us back for sure. The best part of these parks was that we were there in Oct. and Halloween Horror Nights was going on. I don't think I have ever had so much fun. Haunted houses, shows, tons of fog machines all over the park, employees in Halloween costumes coming out of the fog to scare everyone, and a parade where they through all kinds of candy toys and beads to everyone on the streets.
If you have never been there when this is going on you have to go back in Oct. for sure. They close down the park at 5 or 6 I can't remember which, set it all up and reopen for HHN. A total blast.
