| TATINEE's Full Review: Universal Studios Florida |
When I traveled with my family of five last August to Orlando, I was sure that I would LOVE Disney, but I wasn't sure about Universal. I had only been there once before. Our trip started by going to CityWalk, which has clubs, restaurants and shops. I was mesmerized. There were soo many things to do and it was amazing! We were immediately hooked. For the next two days, we went to Islands of Adventures and Universal Studios. I recommend this to any family, couple or even singles!
Islands of Adventures was only months old when we got there. The first thing we did was go to the Cat in the Hat breakfast. It was wonderful! They had great food and the characters were terrific! My girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The other islands were good too...Jurassic Park and the Super Hero islands are must sees!
Universal Studios held many more surprises for us. The rides were wonderful. We ate at the Monster Cafe, which was very fun. There were lots of characters there, such as the Ghostbusters, Hercules and Xena, and Dracula. My kids had soo much fun- the smiles on their faces were priceless!
I would, without a doubt, recommend these parks. A vacation there is not as expensive as you would think! It depends on how many people are going and how much you eat. It could easily be under $100 a day. It is for everyone- not just families. We are going back this year because we are hooked...I can't wait! Oh and by the way, I was disappointed with Disney. It wasn't all that I dreamed it would be :o( But that's another opinion!
