My family has been past visitors of this aquarium and we love it. However, we recently encountered a problem with tickets we pre-purchased from another vendor. The aquarium denied us admission with those tickets. There are a lot of specifics around this issue but my main gripe with the aquarium staff is their TOTAL lack of customer service at the point when customer service REALLY counted. They had the perfect opportunity to 'make good' for their customers and turn a bad experience into a pleasant one. Out of good faith, kindness, good customer service, etc. they should have let us in despite the whole messy situation. Any good business person knows this is what you do. Instead, we were allowed to be admitted at a discounted price which was way too high per ticket especially since we already spent money on tickets.
We chose this (repeat) destination specifically for our weekend getaway. We spent a lot of gas, wasted our time there, and had two very disappointed children in the end. It has now been two weeks and there has been no response to the letter sent to the aquarium....which to me says ALOT.....aka: another missed opportunity for good customer service!
