Not too far south of Cleveland, ( less than a half hour,) there is a great place to take the family. In Aurora, Ohio, Sea World is a really good experience for everyone. They have great shows, complete with hilarious seals, otters, and amazingly huge whales! There are plenty of things to keep the kids busy, lots of exhibits, and plenty of good food. They also have an awesome water-skiing show, that makes you sit on the edge of your seat.
Though the admission is a little high, it is well worth a visit. Warning: When they say you will get wet at Shamu's show if you sit too closely to the front, they mean it! My entire family was drenched with 50 degree salt water because my kids wanted to be "close to Shamu!" It didn't ruin our day, though. We had a blast.
If you haven't been there yet, you need to include it in your vacation plans. You will not be sorry you did. However, take some drinks and snacks in, if you can, for the kids. There is a lot of walking, and a lot to see. The concession stands can and will take advantage of your situation.
