Pros: Powder, Huge mountain, Raw terrain, beautiful scenery, cheaper than CO
Cons: Bottom half of the mountain
The Bottom Line: Bottom line, W/B's top half is awesome and is great for skilled riders. If you are looking for a family oriented place for all levels try Breckenridge, CO.

| jrt1223's Full Review: Whistler-Blackcomb |
I have been a skier and snowboarder for about 8 years now. I have boarded in the East coast and Colorado, and just recently I was fortunate enough to experience Whistler/Blackcombe. I went with a group of friends. There was six of us total, we stayed in a ski in ski out condo for $160 a piece for a whole week. We went in February which is suppose to be the best time of the year to go, any later and you will have to battle with the relentless fog of the Pacific.
Conditions
Whistler /Blackcombe are absolutely huge mountains, I'd say two to three times larger than any mountain I have skiied before. The bottom half of the mountain is slushy throughout the day and icy in the late afternoon. To find more stable conditions we got to go up, way up! This is where we found the best boarding. There was plenty of powder to go around. There were awesome cliffs and boulders to jump. The terrain has plenty to offer the advances boarder. I would not recommend Whistler/Blackcombe to the beginning skier or boarder. There is plenty of intermediate terrain but it isn't always in good shape. This place is definitely for the advanced skier boarder. You'll find the best deal on lift tickets if you buy a five out of six day pass. It ended up costing me $38 a day to board at W/B.
When we weren't on the mountain there was still plenty for us to do. If you like the clubs, there is an awesome club right in the village called Maxx Fish. Check it out. There is also a great burger place I forget the name, but you get to build your own burger and there secret sauce is actually good. I also ate at a really nice Indian restaurant that was suprisingly cheap. I got a full dinner for $12, in a really nice atmosphere. What ever your taste you will find something you like there. And if you want to go to one of the coolest cities, Vancouver is only 2 hours away.
