| spellofmaya's Full Review: Mount Shasta |
My last trip to Mt. Shasta Ski Park was in the middle of January. It hadn't snowed much at that time but all of the runs were open and accessible. We only went up for half of the day which was a good thing, it was fairly crowded but the lines weren't too bad. There isn't much for snowboarders, one run has quite a few man made jumps and a half pipe that isn't that great. The most fun for me is heading off into the trees off of the coyote run. Many people dont go out there and there is a good opportunity to make fresh tracks. The cost of Mt. Shasta is a big plus it is very cheap when compared to places like Tahoe and Mt. Hood in Oregon. I would recommend this resort mostly for skiers, and snowboarders who just want to have fun.
