I visited this resort last year during spring break. My friends and I stayed here for a week, in a hotel fifteen minutes from the lifts.
There was plenty of fresh powder in Breckenridge day after day which enabled the skiers and boarders to have good runs. There are plenty of runs for skiers/boarders of all expertise levels. The prices are reasonable for a resort of such fine caliber.
On days that you don't feel like skiing, the town has many things that you can do with the family. There are many local stores to shop in and an abundance of well-known restaurants. There is also a exciting nightlife for couples and others who just want a night out on the town.
The people in the town are very helpful with visitors in this area. However, The snowstorms can be very miserable due to traffic as you try to exit the ski area/town.
I recommend this resort for anyone who would like to get away! I recommend it to anyone because of its affordability and accessibility.
Insider tips: Ski rentals and boards should be rented outside of the town for cost purposes. Beware of traffic during snowstorms...the town and surrounding roads get shut down. Do not stay in a hotel near the lifts because they are more expensive. You can find some for half the price outside of the Breckenridge area. Buy multiple day tickets.
