MomTo2's Full Review: Beauty and the Beast
I saw Beauty on Broadway two years ago. I went into the show with a positive feeling, because Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie. When I left, not only did I still have that positive feeling, but I was in awe! Although I had HORRIBLE seats, nosebleed section, and I am terribly afraid of heights I had a great time. Once the fear of the height subsided, I was mesmerized. The part of Belle was played by Debbie Gibson, or should I say Deborah Gibson?!? She was terrific and played and sang the part of Belle wonderfully. The special effects were amazing. The scenery was breathtaking and realistic. The cast performed beautifully and were very energetic in their acting skills. The one and only regret I have about the show was, not taking my daughter. If I ever get the chance to go again, which I hope I do, I will definitely take her. Its a very child-friendly show.
