Pros:Artful, emotional piece of work, great technical and on stage work
Cons:A little slow in the first act

Let me say this upfront: I love Jesus Christ Superstar. I just saw it a few hours ago. I loved it.
I thought the acting of Glenn Carter (who I had seen play Jesus before) was just great. I really thought he played his part very well. He's the best Messiah impersonater around! His theatre movement and vocal range was just great
Tony Vincent who played Judas was the best though. I can usually connect with one character in every musical I see. Judas was the one in JCS. I think that his voice is phenomenal (his character reminded me a lot of Dean Collinson's Amos in Whistle Down the Wind). I think that his acting was just mezmerizing! I loved Judas more than any part in this play. Tony Vincent is truly amazing! I can't get over it--I'm traumatized by absolute euphoria.
I think that the use of the stage was very well done. Even though there was one main background, the additions and subtractions to the set made for great diversity in production. The set design was great.
The musical score's just the best. I really thought that the songs and repetition are catchy and very fitting. I liked the idea of modernizing this famous biblical story.
All in all, the story was great. A definitely creative work of the theatre. I can't say enough about Jesus Christ Superstar. Everything was wonderful! The first act was nowhere near as emotional as the second. Yeah, it started off a little slowly, but it was artfully done. I loved JCS! I think everyone should join and go see it. Whether you're Jewish, Christian, Catholic, Muslim, Buddhist or other, you'll LOVE it!
