This off-Broadway musical/comedy had all the elements that I love in a production. It had comedy, some great songs and is done in a great theater!
The comedy is the middle aged angst variety that products of the 80's like myself loved in Sienfeld and shows like it. it had all the self-doubting and societal pressures that we have come to expect.
The songs where memorable without blowing away the rest of the production and were done by actors. Songs created for actors not acting done by singers. This may seem like splitting hairs but off-broadway is too often a death knell for some productions.
Lastly, the theater I saw this in was perfect. It was small enough that I felt a part of the production but large enough that I didn't feel like I was viewing some lame high school or community production.
This is a great one for any level of fan.
