I went to see the Dinner Party with very low expectations, since it had gotten very poor reviews in the press. I was very pleasantly surprised! The Dinner Party was very funny. I especially enjoyed Henry Winkler performance.
The storyline was very believable.You really begin to care about the characters. The play was able to be a comedy and a drama at the same time!! The play examines love and marriage in a very interesting way.The fact that there is no intermission helps keeps the continuity of the story.
I would thoroughly recommend this play to anybody who like a good comedy as well as a good story.
