Great Service, Sort of,

For the last six years or so I have been flying into ABQ 4 or 5 times each year. Most of the time I rent from Avis. Always a good attitude at the counter and usually great service. From time to time it breaks down, but they fix it. Like the time our flight arrived just around midnight. I pick up the car and before I could get to the end of the terminal, it died. I was given another car and roared off into the night only to discover rather quickly that this one wasn't non-smoking. (My wife is allergic and lost her voice before I could get to the hotel.) Next morning they gave me another one. This time is was an upgrade from the usual standard size to luxury. This sort of thing has happened a few times, usually with good results. The only real complaint is that the cars are never really clean. And, oh yeah, last August they didn't have the car I had reserved so they gave me a Ford Explorer with Firestone tires.
