Don't Use Enterprise LAX

I have been an Enterprise customer for years and have always found the Employees to be kind and curteous. I have rented cars six times in Ohio, once in Maryland, and once from the LAX location. The prices are reasonable, they rent to college students (21 and over as opposed to 25+), offer a decent selection of makes and models from which to choose, and have provided reliable and clean transportation.
However, I caution you against using the Enterprise LAX because their customer service is inadequate to the point of negligent. Not only did they leave me stranded at LAX after 4 frantic phone calls requesting service, but by the time I actually got through a 5th time (on hold for 23 minutes!) they politely informed me that they were closed for the evening but would be happy to pick me up in the morning.
On the whole I have had very good service from them and am the first to understand that sometimes things go wrong. However, when I made contacted their customer service department, I was simply given an apology even after I explained that because they left me stranded at the airport late at night I was forced to check into a hotel and was out a considerable sum of money. That's not how businesses dedicated to their customers should handle problems. So basically, I would give them a thumbs up, unless you need a car at LAX-- then run as fast as you can to another rental provider.
