Pros: Pick you up, nice customer service, reasonable rates
Cons: A bit of a hassle. Hard to find one open on weekend.
The Bottom Line: Recommended. They have nice cars, bring the car to you, reasonable (although not the cheapest) rates, and nice customer service.

When my last car finally died on the way home from work, I found myself in need of a car while I tried to decide if I was going to be buying a new one or trying to repair the old one. I decided to call Enterprise, since in shopping around they were not only the closest to my house, they also had some of the best rates -- and they'd bring the car to me so I didn't have to deal with more hassle.
I called them up on a Friday evening and requested a compact car, which they assured me would be no problem, at the cost of around 300 for the week I was going to keep it. I called to confirm on Saturday and select a time for them to pick me up -- 10 am. It was raining, but the representative was right on time, very professional, and quite nice. He picked me up in a new Buick Le Saber, with low miles.
When we got to the rental place, I discovered that they had none of the compacts I wanted available, since they were a small store. I was offered first a truck -- which I refused, since I don't like trucks, especially for the commute I have! -- and then eventually given the Buick I was picked up in as a free upgrade. Compact to full-size! Not bad, for the same rate. There was a bit of a delay as they had trouble getting my insurance verified because of the wait, but other than that, things went smoothly.
The car drove excellently, had low miles, and was very clean. I don't think there was even a scratch on it. It had a full complement of safety features on it, too, which made me enjoy the constant driving I did that week to car dealerships and work in the rain that much better.
The only problem came when I went and picked my new car up on Saturday and we ran back to return the rental. After a trip to my parents, and a mad dash to make it by closing time... we discovered that they either weren't open on Saturday, or they had extremely limited hours. (I don't recall which, now.) This facilitated a trip out to the airport to return the car.
However, returning the car was quick, easy and painless, and more efficient than the rental. I got no hassles from them -- they smiled, took the keys, and waved me on.
Enterprise has been one of my rental companies of choice for a while now, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. They aren't always the cheapest, but they're not the most expensive, either, and picking you up when you need a car for something other than a trip that starts from the airport as a great service.
