Cons: Rude Employees , Inefficent management , high rental costs ,Sub Standard, and even dangerous cars .

My dealership obtained a rental for me while my vehicle needed to be in the shop .
Of course , it was Enterprise they had an account with .
I had never rented from Enterprise before because of the 150 mile limit enforced , and the high rate they charge per mile after that 150 mile limit .
Well , I recieved 2 cars this day .
The first was not only filthy , but should have been in the junkyard rather than a fleet vehicle .
During my drive home the seat back collapsed and I found myself in the middle of the back seat of the car looking at the nicotime stains on the ceiling .
The replacement vehicle was a Mirage , which i assumed was a compact car .
No I was charged extra since Enterprise considers the Mirage a Intermediate car .
The 25.00 allowance did not cover it , I was told .
This Mirage also has brakes that that went to the floor and grinded .
I called Enterprise again , and complained about this car also and was promptly told that they didnt have another car to give me .
That is when I took action and called corporate .
They rectified the problem at once .
It was after I got back to my house , finally that I recieved a call from the gentleman who originally rented me the first vehicle .
He wanted to let me know how I upset him , by calling corporate and making him look bad .
In fact he was actually pushing for an apology if you can imagine that .
Cons besides what I stated in this article :
36.00 a day is steep for a compact car that Enterprise passes off for an intermediate .
150 miles a day and 56 cents per mile over is outrageous .
Customer Service , well in my opinion there is none .
The employees , even management were rude , and not willing to help me when I had severe problems with the first vehicle .They even wanted me to try and drive it back to them . I was told
" Figure out a way to get it back here if you can "
Sure with the back of the seat broken and no way to drive it , I guess I can do that ... NOT
I can see no pros to this story , only that at least , I did not have to pay most of the cost of the rental .
Im sure my dealership will love to hear this story .
It may be Enterprise will be hearing from someone other than me with more complaints
