Enterprise gave us a sweet surprise!

After over 30 years of waiting to be able to see the Rolling Stones, I finally was able to procure tickets!!! I must admit it's been a while since I got concert tickets----what's with this lottery thing? I was the 1st one in line guys! But I digress!
Oh well, back to Enterprise! Since at the time, we didn't have a car and were living in Colorado Springs and the Concert was in Denver, we decided to rent a car/truck. We checked around and decided that Enterprise had the best rates and would be easiest to get home from after dropping of the loaner. So, 6 weeks prior to the concert, we reserved a 4X4 vehicle.
The concert was in Denver in February----I was going to be SURE I got to it! I reconfirmed the reservation both one week prior and then again the day before. We were set for 9am. (Yes the concert was at night, but what if I had to walk for some reason---I wanted PLENTY of time! 30 years is a really long time to wait!)
So, we arrived at the Enterprise location 15 minutes early (tell me you didn't see that coming). AFTER waiting for 45 minutes (now 30 minutes after our supposed departure) they finally brought our 4X4. But, while we were checking it out, we discovered that the hydraulics (that's what they said it was)was leaking! So we then had to wait for them to clean up a pickup truck. That took another 30 minutes. Finally we got out of there and left for Denver an hour and a half late.
We made it in plenty of time! And the concert was awesome!
I e-mailed Enterprise and explained how disappointed I was after all of the checking on the reservations and all. To my utter surprise, I received an return email from that local store apologizing for the problem. That in and of itself was a surprise in this day and age, but can you imagine my shock when I went on to read in the email that they were refunding the entire charge back to my credit card! It was done in 3 days! I believe should we need another rental car we will definitely be going to Enterprise first!
