Pros: Professional. Do what they say they will and do it well with Aloha spirit
Cons: Can be a wait in very busy holiday periods.
The Bottom Line: Very efficient, reliable and friendly. Better to avoid the peak holiday periods (around Christmas and New Year at times when Mainland flights land)

Prepaid car on web from UK. Exact model aviailable, clean, modern, in good condition, car waiting on arrival. No wait for Bus (Lihue HI). Quick check in. I had two rentals end to end and they manually checked me in so I did not have to return to airport mid vacation. After 10 days got engine warning sign (No other signs of problem but better safe than sorry), so returned car and got a replacement (slight delay as busy period with limited cars - had to get car re-valeted as interiror grubby).
Extra fee for second driver is capped at 5 days so for long rentals it does not become exorbitant. Not a good idea to upgrade at desk as they quote rack rates not your neogtiated rate on the booking. This is fair as they tell you what they are doing and it was me asking about upgrade options not them trying to sell it to me.
Check out by machine very quick and correct and bus right from car to terminal with no wait. Great price (3/4 of competition), great car, great service, great people. If you want to rent on Kauai (Hawaii) then you should seriously look at the excellent folks at Hertz.
(PS It makes such a change to direct you to excellence and value rather than warn you of incompetence, nickel and diming and the other factors of modern travel.)
