Pros:lots of cool stunts, pyrotechnics
Cons:may frighten small children
The Bottom Line: Stunts, fire and smoke.
I never waited in long lines for the Indiana Jones Epic. I have seen this show several times. It never changes. It is loosely based on the famous movie and the character Indiana Jones.
The show takes place in a huge covered outdoor theater. It is supposed to be a movie set and a scene is recreated from the Indiana Jones movie adventure. A large boulder almost runs down the hero Indiana in the first scene. He narrowly escapes the boulder when an explosion and fire erupts. These are merely pyrotechnics and the fire is quickly extinguished.
The "Casting Director" selects 8 or 10 extras to participate in the stunt show. One is actually a stuntman planted in the audience. They participate in some of the stunt scenes. The rest of the show is a movie demonstration of cars, fights, high jumps, and airplanes blowing up into fire and smoke. It is fun to watch.
The show lasts thirty minutes complete with Nazis, Arab swordsman, fire and smoke and lots of silly jokes. The show hasn't changed anything, jokes included in the last three years. They should revamp it alittle. Universal Studios, Orlando the rival theme park has a stunt show about the Wild West in answer to this one. Both are good, but get boring if you see them too many times.
