Step Into Another World

Pros: Lovely architecture, Great entertainment.

Cons: Spicy food. Not much for kids to do.

Although we were not able to spend a long time in "Morocco" during our most recent visit to Epcot, my husband and I did stop long enough to watch some entertainers in the square and to savor the aroma from the fine restaurant offered here.

The architecture is a sampling of Morocco's best, with adobe tones and plenty of tile and mosaic artistry woven in. Performers played traditional music while others awed the crowd with their acrobatic and balancing feats. The square was filled with the spicy smells pouring out from the restaurant kitchen. Several young Moroccan women were in the square, taking dinner reservations and answering questions about the acrobats or the culture.

It was very pleasant and while I don't enjoy very spicy food, this is well worth a short stop on the way to the next country in Epcot.
