It's Better than the Movie! Pirates of the Caribbean

Pros: Great theme, fun soundtrack, nice queue area with fast-moving line, realistic pirates/animals
Cons: May scare some children, boats sometimes get bunched up at the end

Chelle, your reviews are so helpful. My jids going with me are very small and your comments on this attraction have helped me a great deal. I think my printer has gone into overtime today getting all of this good information - i truly appreciate your detail.

but true that the Disneyland one is a lot better - longer and less cut out. It seemed like they even cut out more in December from just 3 years earlier?
I think all of the other rides are better at DisneyWorld though.
Nice job -

It is just a really great one, I could ride it multiple times in a row whereas I get sick of some of the other rides easily.
Glad you like it too!

I grew up in So. Cal too and although I DO like the thrill rides, I still think 'Pirates' is my all time favorite ride at ANY theme park. Nice review!

Thanks! I'm jealous of you, growing up close to any Disney theme park!

bringing back some memories! I grew up in California and Disneyland was a frequent destination. Pirates is one my favorite rides. I don't like thrill rides, but that little drop (I think it may be two small drops at Disneyland) is fun.

Thanks! Good to hear some comparison. I think the themed queues are better at Disney World simply because when Disneyland opened they probably had no idea how many people would be visiting, and waiting! I do really want to visit Disneyland, it's on our list of Spring Break trips to do, probably not next year but the one after that. Thanks for stopping by!

Good review once again! I usually go to Disney World once a year, but during Spring Break, I made a trip to Disneyland. I thought it was better there, but the ride is longer and what really inspired most of the movie. I still like the Disney World one though! One thing that you spoke about that the Disneyland Ride seems to be missing is a themed line getting on the attraction. Disneyland does not have too many of those. Also there is always a very long line at Disneyland, bud Disney World doesn't because it is mnore crowd friendly!

Once again, Great Review!
