One truly gets lost inside the world of vampires, witches an werewolves. The drama behind the addictive fantasy life of Elena (the main character) is irresistable. No tv show to this date catches the viewers attention like this, because in this unique world of mysterious events the impossible becomes possible and living in this world becomes more and more of a struggle, which ultimately puts the viewers mind into submission with the show. The relationships that build are so lucrative that one keeps hoping for the relationships to remain. This stunning tv drama intelligently embeds a parallel story with another character in the series. Elena is caught between two people she truly admires and is incapable of making a descision as well as mysterious consequences preventing her from making her desicion. Although some might find certain characters annoying at times, the characteas grow on you and you become attached to them. The Vampire Diaires is truly amazing and a fictional work of genius. My personal view of the vampire diaries, although extremely positive, it is honest. I findthat the characters like Stefan, Damon and Elena grow so much on you that it feels like they have become a part of your secret life. The more and more I watch the show, I imagine life as a vampire as it gets me lost into my own thoughts. Elena's life and her relationships play a huge part in the series as they reflect the ups and downs of the world itself and the relationships grow so strong that breaking them actually touches you emotionally yourself. Various comedic moments are present that also bring a sense of humour into the series which completely balances the series into all aspects of film. Anyone who watches the show is guaranteed to love whether hither a fiction fan or an ordinary person, The Vampire diaries is gripping.
