Pros:Comfortable, Good looking Shirt, Bright, Graphics
Cons:Price
The Bottom Line: Get the Washington Nationals Red AC change up T-Shirt. Its a high quality one, that costs a bit, but is durable.
The Washington Nationals are no longer the "gnats." They have for years been the laughingstock of baseball, although I instantly was happy to have them in the D.C. area. Its good to have MLB "in town," and while I am a die hard Red Sox fan, I do like the Nats.(If they play the Sox, who are they?) I usually go to five or so games a year at Nats Park, and am looking forward to seeing Gio Gonzalez pitch this Wednesday there. Gio!!! Yes, I think he's awesome with that smile of his when he strikes a batter out, and Bryce Harper and so many other young players, have made the team exciting to watch. There are plenty of shirts and hats to wear, but I've always had good luck with Majestic brand MLB gear.
The red AC change up t-shirt continues this tradition. Its colors, 100% cotton materials, and overall quality make it worth its high price. If memory serves me correctly, I paid close to $25.00 for it. Yet I love the design, with the curly W right up front, and how its so bright, compared to a lot of other Nationals shirts. You can see this a mile away, which is how my parents see me, from their more expensive seats :). Yes, I'm the guy in the bleacher section, or at the very best, somewhere close to the first base line in section 133 or so. Being bald helps them see me when we leave after a game, but this shirt does too, as it is very bright. There's no denying your "rocking the red for the Nats", even though that's generally associated with the successful Capitals hockey franchise.
As for weather conditions, this works well in all. It seems to be just right. While obviously not the best jogging shirt, I've done okay with it on. For the most part, it goes with either a pair of black/red shorts, or a pair of blue jeans. I've also used it underneath other shirts, and have found that this red can contrast well with other layers. Its quality even stands out from underneath, and no matter where you wear it, the shirt can also take a bit of stretching or moves that mind render other shirts with a hole or tear somewhere.
As for washing, I just put it in the machine with warm water. It dries well, and does not require any special care. The quality of being worn to so many ball games, and also being on out and about, proves that it was money well spent. I find it to be comfortable on my skin as well, and like it with a red hat. Its a good shirt, and with the big curly W, you can find this one at a variety of sports stores. The tag does not irritate the back of my neck, and its maintained its crisp appearance. I recommend it, and think that all fans of the Nats, should be wearing this on gameday.
