1st Weber grill lasted 12 years. The E330 is better at grilling with the extra sear feature. Everything was fine until last weekend when I noticed a greasy, smelly puddle on my deck next to the grill. I had noticed rain water getting inside the cabinet, but did not realize the drip pan was also taking on water and overflowed. You would think a respected co. like Weber would test these grills in some rain and adjust the design to prevent this. This grill design has been out for at least a couple of years and I think the more expensive Summit has the same problem. I would have fired the designer of this grill. If you are like me and use your grill quite often and don't like covering it everyday then don't buy this one. I guess I am stuck for the next 12 years emptying out the drip pan after rainy periods because I don't want to have clean up that greasy mess again. When you pay a premium price for something you expect better.
