They stole my money

Pros: Close to home

Cons: Calls never returned, difficult to schedule, steal your money!

The Bottom Line: They're crowded and poorly run. Personal training payments not honored. Go elsewhere.

I had been buying personal training sessions for over a year in blocks of 20 sessions and was pleased with my trainer. However, when the trainer left 24-Hour Fitness, the manager said he had not submitted his payment form for me (check was cashed however). The manager said they needed to "look into it" and proceeded to stall and avoid me for the next 4 months - not returning my calls and not replying to 3 letters I sent to customer service. After 4 months I ended up demanding they make a decision. Again no reply. I canceled my membership. I'm out $600.
