Pros: Only gym in this area open 24 hours
Cons: They only want beautiful, already thin members.
The Bottom Line: Don't even try to ask them about joining unless you are already skinny and muscular. They're beautiful but very superficial.

| purple_tursi's Full Review: 24 Hour Fitness |
I'm writing this review after having tried unsuccessfully to join 24 Hour Fitness. I went in without any preconceptions other than them being expensive, but my experience certainly seems to confirm negative reviews below because even the gym staff themselves seem to want it to be a meat market type place. I was attracted by their 24 hour access and their convenient location very close to my home. I went in full of hope about losing weight, but left feeling terrible about myself all because of the membership staff. The staff member in charge of membership told me I shouldn't join because I was too ugly and fat. There were only 4 members in the entire gym at the time I visited (weekend evening), but according to him, my looks wouldn't fit in with their clientele. He looked me up and down and asked how long it had been since I had been a member of a gym. Then he jumped to the conclusion that it would be "futile" for someone like me to join 24 Hour Fitness. When he rudely suggested that I go join someplace with lower standards, the front desk person looked pleadingly at him and said, "Don't tell her to join a different gym!" In response, the membership guy just shrugged indifferently and walked away. I left feeling insecure about my looks and frustrated about being 30lbs overweight.
