About 4 months ago I joined 24 Hour Fitness because it was close to my apartment and I did not enjoy Gold's Gym when I worked out there. I was so impressed the first time I walked in and saw all of the fitness machines that were at my disposal. I knew that I was not going to have to wait around while someone else was on the machine that I wanted. I was equally impressed with all of the weightlifting equipment and the full size basketball court.
It is a definite plus to be able to work out whenever the mood strikes you. I enjoy the environment that 24 Hour Fitness offers, from the t.v.'s and music to the people who work out there. I do not feel intimidated nor do I feel embarrassed because people of all shapes and sizes work out there everyday. It was very simple to get my membership started and I have not had a problem since.
My one complaint though is the cost of having a trainer show you how to properly use the machines the facility offers. I do not know if it is a valid complaint because I have not compared prices with other gyms. All in all my experience at 24 Hour Fitness has been enjoyable and I hope it continues to be!!
