| Mpainter's Full Review: Bally Total Fitness |
I have been a lifetime member at Bally's for over 9 years and I love it. For a year or two I stopped going (got lazy) but I started up again. The thing that I really love about Bally's is; more equipment than you could ever dream of, free child care, different types of people (big, small, bodybuilders etc..) saunas, tv's and a lot more. Some have huge tracks for runners, badminton, free weights, weight machines (tons of different kinds) bikes, stair machines, treadmills, aerobics (all kinds including what is "in" at the moment), and they have quite a few of certain popular pieces of equipment-to cut down on waiting time. The staff, upon joining will give you a very thorough and knowledgeable physical and everyone on staff that I have ever met at Bally's is very nice and doesn't make you feel stupid if you are just starting out, rather they help you to fit in. I would recommend this chain to anyone who is interested in working out!! Membership fees vary greatly, it is best to join during the winter, because they run a lot of specials. You can put your membership on a payment plan and once you are finished with that, you still pay $10 a month to keep your membership active and you get sent coupons all the time like "If you pay for the whole year, it is only $70) This is a good deal!! Also, I would like to add that you get what you pay for and Bally's keeps their facilities VERY clean and I have heard a lot of horror stories about what you can catch from dirty gyms, so I will be staying at Bally's!!
